Infectious disease medicines requires detail knowledge of the way in which virus, bacteria, fungi and parasite attack to human body and how they start infection, as well as depth knowledge of antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal and Immunobiological agents. General Internists also trained to deal with Environmental, Occupational and other host factors that help to manifest infection.
