Biography
Dr. Constance L Fry received his M.D in Medicine (1988) from Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans. For 2 consecutive years, Dr. Fry has collaborated with colleagues at SAMMC (San Antonio Military Medicine Consortium - the combined residency programs of Wilford Hall and Brooke Army Medical Center). Dr. Fry participates in the curriculum development and assignment of clinical duties, as well as periodic one-on-one teaching. In 2008, Dr. Fry developed as specific evaluation tool whereby faculty can give a written evaluation that functions as immediate feedback. The resident presentation is discussed and ultimately evaluated with respect to the 6 General Competencies of the ACGME. From 1994 to present, Dr. Fry has been an invited, paid instructor at a national review course in ophthalmology, teaching residents and recent graduates the salient points on ophthalmic plastic surgery in preparation for examination by the American Board of Ophthalmology. As of February 2007, Dr. Fry has been named Course Director for the Section of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at this month long review course.
