Biography
She is an immunologist/microbiologist by training and got her MSc degree in medical microbiology from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and her PhD in immunology from King’s College (London). She has over 17-years’ experience in the quality control and standardisation of conjugate vaccines against Haemophilus influenzae b, animal models and vaccine immunology. She has over 27 refereed papers covering various aspects of assay development, standardisation and research and development in the field of conjugate vaccines, vaccine candidates and novel delivery systems. She is also interested in vaccines against Clostridium difficile, Streptococcus agalacticae and Streptococcus pyogenes.
