Prof.Dr. Ospan A Mynbaev has completed his PhD and ScD studies in Kulakov Research Center of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Perinatology, Russian Health Ministry in cooperation with Petrovsky Russian National Center of Surgery and Lomonosov Moscow State University followed with postdoctoral studies in Belgian universities (KULeuven, Ghent University, VUB). Recently he established an international alliance of researchers from basic sciences and medical practitioners named “The International Bureau of Human Body Design & Biomodeling” at the MIPT. His research interests include surgical topics closely related to multidisciplinary translational research and personalized medicine. He developed new generation of training kits for medical education based on hand skills manipulation & ultrau modern technologies especially designed for cosmetologists and plastic surgeons. He also developed principles of online laboratory for experimental research and education with several unique tools: 1). Artiicial heart; 2). Artiicial lung for ventilation during laparoscopic procedures; 3). CO2upneumoperitoeum simulation tool; 4). Online lab simulation of blood gas & acidubase disturbances during laparoscopic surgery. He won MIPT Startupu2018 with his innovative project, concerning diagnostic and treatment issues of uterine scar defects after cesarean delivery. He is the author of several original mechanisms of surgical pathologies including: ‘pathogenesis of CO2 pneumoperitoneumuinduced metabolic hypoxemia’, ‘peritoneal tissueuoxygen tension changes during CO2upneumoperitoneum’, ‘severe infammatory reaction induced mechanism of postoperative adhesion formation’. He published >100 articles, well recognized as researcher and lecturer, he serves also as an editor, editorial board member and reviewer of many international journals and also as an active faculty of scientiic societies. He initiated an afliation of the Training Center of Innovative Medical Technologies in Moscow with the SLS. International awards: The UAE Health Authority conference award (Abu Dhabi, 2016, 2015); Multidisciplinary Paper Honorable Mention (SLSucongress, ENDOuEPPO, Boston, 2006); ESGE Raul Palmer prize, (Lisboan, 2001); AAGL Jerome J. Hofmann prize (California, 2001); Joint AMRS/AMA paperureviewuprize (Washington DC, 2006) and many other awards.
